MDN received a call from a girl named Sandhya Basnet, after getting information through social media about our successful distribution of relief packages to 80 families of Manohora slum area. Ms. Banset is a hardworking, independent girl who used to work in catering business. Since, lockdown she is not able to earn. She has rented two rooms in Patan area where she lives with her ill mother and two brothers. She expressed that this is a very difficult time, as she is not allowed to work but have to feed herself and her family. She then, thought of contacting us. MDN was very touched with her story, and decided to distribute the same package to her and other five families. We again purchased the materials, prepared the packages and went to Patan to distribute those packages. All of them were very happy after receiving the packages and thanked MDN. Even though the situation is tight, Mr. Krishna Thapa was able to arrange and distribute the packages to needed families. We would like to thank all, who have supported MDN, as we were able to reach out the actual family in need at this time of crisis. THANK YOU ALL.
MDN would like to take a moment to thank all the generous individuals and groups involved in this great cause.
